ME Monday.....

In my home office I have shelves on two ends of the room where I display my collection of Mary Engelbreit tins. One side is for Christmas and the other is for everything else. I have fooled around with these photos far too long to try to get them to line up. I give up! I will let the perfectionist in me relax today.

A not so great photograph, of my china cabinet in my kitchen that I use to display some of my ME treasures.

Blogging....too funny not to share

I know this isn't like anything that I usually do but I just thought this was so funny I had to share it.  Before I started a blog I thought "What do I have to say that anyone would be at all interested in?" Now I follow blogs because I enjoy reading and seeing what others have to share. Funny how I changed my tune once I just tried it.

Cherry Charm Watch

I've been busy designing this rainy afternoon. I recently received a number of new watch faces, my watch inventory is low, so I figured I'd work up some new pieces to share. Clicking on the "Cherry Charm Watch" title above will magically take you over to Artfire.com where you can read the details. Thanks for letting me share.

Things I Love Thursday...

A new Dale Chihuly Exhibition just opened in St. Petersburg recently. I had the good fortune to go to see his glass work last week. It was stunning and well worth the time to see it. No cameras were allowed in this exhibition but obviously other people have taken wonderful photographs of his displays of beauty. I share them in my "Things I Love Thursdays" here and in my Flickr group (TILT). Enjoy!

Red Kitchen for Rednesday......

Ms. Cristina's kitchen continues around the corner to this very RED wall.(see Monday's blog)
This display of RED is on top of her refrigerator just to the right of the RED wall.
One time when Ms. Christina was up for a visit with me, we went "junking" in a cute little town called Dade City. We found this plain little birdhouse in a store. Ms. Christina looked at me at said "Make it Mary Engelbreit" for me. Soooo....I did. I painted it, decoupaged some giftwrap on it, and bought some little minitures to add to the side porch.
Then I made a little "bowl of cherries" out of polymer clay to place on the porch bench. What I failed to do is dust it off before I took this picture so don't enlarge it and look too closely...lol.
Here's a close up of the wall view shared yesterday. Still more RED.
Here are the ME "Cherries" place setting for eight that I picked up from my friend on my trip to Ft. Myers. Also, some of my enamel ware Cherry mugs and my Cherry glasses. They fit right at home in my kitchen...right?

Please join all the wonderful bloggers at SueLovesCherries to share in Rednesday.
