Rednesday @ Cherry Chick....

It's that time again....join us all over at It's A Very Cherry World to share your Red treasures this Wednesday.
On Monday, I received the cutest package from my friend Genie over at ButtonsforBaga.blogspot.com. A cheerfully decorated envelope with red Cherries all over it. When I opened the envelope up it had a Cherry fabric giftbag inside. Inside the gift bag was a Cherry looking tissue package with a personalized gift tag attached. THEN....inside of that.....was the cutest Cherry fabric custom made apron made just for ME. Genie had told me that she was sending me "a little something" but I was amazed and surprised at what it was! How could she have possibly known that I have a "collection" of aprons on display in my kitchen along with my cookbooks? How could she have known that most of them were from Mary Englebreit and that her Cherry creation would fit in perfectly? Many thanks and hugs to Genie.

It's time for ME Monday again......

Welcome, again, to Mary Engelbreit Monday. Please join us and post the link to your blog with the related Mary Engelbreit pictures to share with everyone. It can be a ME licensed product or something that was "inspired" by Mary Engelbreit's artwork. It "should" be a photo that you took of something that you own. We're flexible here....let's have fun above all else.
Once you've posted your picture come back and add your link in Mr. Linky below. Please share the link back to my blog so that everyone can take part in sharing their post and picture.

YES...It's a Mary Engelbreit credit card!
Back in 2000 First USA was issuing a credit card with Mary's artwork. Of course, I had to have one! I eventually closed the account but I still have Mary Engelbreit checks. Not that I ever even write checks anymore. Did anyone else ever have a Mary Engelbreit credit card???

ME Monday....

Welcome, again, to Mary Engelbreit Monday. The linky will be open at 8 pm EST Sunday evening and you'll be able to post the link to your blog with the related Mary Engelbreit pictures to share with everyone. It can be a ME licensed product or something that was "inspired" by Mary Engelbreit's artwork. It "should" be a photo that you took of something that you own. A little Hint......This week I'm going with some "autographed" items that Mary has signed for me. Way back in the day, after Mary first launched her greeting card line at the New York Stationery Show, I was one of her manufacturer's reps. I still have some of those original greeting cards. I've had several occasions to meet Mary since then and she has generously "autographed" some things for me. Isn't it funny how having something signed by someone "famous" makes it so special. I wonder if the people who receive a check from her feel like her signature is that special.

Rednesday....

Sue is hosting "Rednesday" over at her blog It's a Very Cherry World!.  Go see what Red things everyone has to share this week. It's fun to check out all of the different blogs and make new friends.

My Red this week will be my Cherry Crystal Earrings that I sell over at Artfire.com. I use 10mm Swarovski Crystals and Czech pressed glass leaves to make these cute little earrings.

ME Monday.....

Something New For Mondays...

My new friend, Genie, from over at "Buttons for Baga" has sent me  a Mary Engelbreit Challenge.  Ha...Ha...Ha..Ha... Foolish Woman! She already has conceded that I will win..lol!
I have decided to create "ME Mondays" here on my blog to share so that anyone who loves ME as much as we do can participate. It's easy to join in...starting Sunday night after 8 p.m. EST you'll be able to post your link to your blog with the related Mary Engelbreit pictures to share with everyone.  Have patience with me as this will be my first attempt at "Linky tools."
For our first ME Monday I put out the challenge to post a picture of what you think is your most unique ME item.  It can be a ME licensed product or something that was "inspired" by Mary Engelbreit's artwork.  It must be a photo that you took of something that you own.  They don't have to be magazine quality photos, either. We realize everyone is busy.
Along with this new ME Monday, I have launched the second page of my blog  "What..Where..Why..Is Cherry Chick Jewelry" On this new page I will be sharing information about the jewelry that I design and sell. I'm offering a "Giveaway" over there, too, so make sure you click over and enter the giveaway.

Mary Englebreit Sewing Needles

I think this is a pretty interesting ME item. I bought these years ago at JoAnn Fabrics. They had several designs of cards with a little sewing needle kit inside. Has anyone every seen these before??

Rednesday.....

For Rednesday this week I used the Mosaic Maker tool to create a selection of photos from my Mary Engelbreit office decor. I'm loving this new tool that Genie shared with me. Let me know what you think.
There is lots of "Red" in my office especially with all of the ME cherries. Thanks, as always, to Sue at It's a Very Cherry World for getting the Rednesday going. Hop over to her blog and check out all of the other "Red" items.

Cherries Jubilee Rocking Chair....too cute!

So how cute is this Cherry Chair???? I was over poking around at Etsy.com looking for "Cherries" when I came across Linda's oh so cute Cherry Rocking Chair that she painted. She has it for sale in her Etsy store and if you live in Jacksonville, FL you can even pick it up from her. She has more pics of it in her store on Etsy.com. Check it out...even better....buy it and gift it to me for Christmas...LOL! I vote it's perfect for any Mary Engelbreit Fan.

I'm Tweeting!

Weeeeeellllllllll.....I finally gave in and signed up for a Twitter account! I have resisted this for such a long time now. I've been going to some Social Media education MeetUps here lately and now I've decided to join the masses. My issue is that I don't think I have a whole lot to say that anyone would want to listen to. Not to mention, I have so much packed into my life now who do I even have time to Follow...lol!
I've put a link to the twitter page here on my blog or just click here.  I'm "TheCherryChick" there.
I'm not promising a whole lot of Tweets but let me know if you think there is something awesome that I should be following. I already have 2 Followers! Go figure!

Rednesday........

Sue over at It's a Very Cherry World showcases "Rednesday" each Wednesday for anyone who wants to share their "Red" feature.
My contribution this week is a Cherry Fringe bracelet that I finally finished after working on it on and off forever it seems like. It has a million seed beads, lampwork glass beads, pressed glass flowers and leaves, and a little bit of silver. This will become my OOAK signature bracelet since I spent sooooo much time on it. ;-)

I've created another color variation on the "Calypso" beaded bracelet. This one in Red, White & Black that goes with just about everything. I'm calling this verison the "Fiesta Red" bracelet.
