Blogging....too funny not to share

I know this isn't like anything that I usually do but I just thought this was so funny I had to share it.  Before I started a blog I thought "What do I have to say that anyone would be at all interested in?" Now I follow blogs because I enjoy reading and seeing what others have to share. Funny how I changed my tune once I just tried it.

Cherry Charm Watch

I've been busy designing this rainy afternoon. I recently received a number of new watch faces, my watch inventory is low, so I figured I'd work up some new pieces to share. Clicking on the "Cherry Charm Watch" title above will magically take you over to Artfire.com where you can read the details. Thanks for letting me share.

Things I Love Thursday...

A new Dale Chihuly Exhibition just opened in St. Petersburg recently. I had the good fortune to go to see his glass work last week. It was stunning and well worth the time to see it. No cameras were allowed in this exhibition but obviously other people have taken wonderful photographs of his displays of beauty. I share them in my "Things I Love Thursdays" here and in my Flickr group (TILT). Enjoy!

Red Kitchen for Rednesday......

Ms. Cristina's kitchen continues around the corner to this very RED wall.(see Monday's blog)
This display of RED is on top of her refrigerator just to the right of the RED wall.
One time when Ms. Christina was up for a visit with me, we went "junking" in a cute little town called Dade City. We found this plain little birdhouse in a store. Ms. Christina looked at me at said "Make it Mary Engelbreit" for me. Soooo....I did. I painted it, decoupaged some giftwrap on it, and bought some little minitures to add to the side porch.
Then I made a little "bowl of cherries" out of polymer clay to place on the porch bench. What I failed to do is dust it off before I took this picture so don't enlarge it and look too closely...lol.
Here's a close up of the wall view shared yesterday. Still more RED.
Here are the ME "Cherries" place setting for eight that I picked up from my friend on my trip to Ft. Myers. Also, some of my enamel ware Cherry mugs and my Cherry glasses. They fit right at home in my kitchen...right?

Please join all the wonderful bloggers at SueLovesCherries to share in Rednesday.

Christina's Mary Engelbreit Kitchen.....

As I mentioned Monday, I went to visit with my friend, Christina, in Ft. Myers this past weekend. I took pictures of her darling ME inspired Cherry kitchen. A million years ago, before they had digital cameras, I painted the glass inserts in her corner hutch for her. She usually leaves the doors open, which is fine because you can see the designs from either side.
I've always "coveted" her Ann Estelle stand.
Part of the fun of my trip was to go pick up from her an eight piece setting of the the ME Cherry dinnerware pictured on the top shelf in this photo. Happy dance!

I'll take you around the rest of the kitchen tomorrow.

M.E. Monday.......

I know I'm running a little late for our Mary Engelbreit Monday sharing but I have a good excuse. I've just returned home from a wonderful weekend in Ft. Myers where I went to visit my dear friend Christina. She loves ME and Cherries as much as I do. It's been a year since we've seen each other which is far too long for friends who only live 2.5 hours apart. Life just gets in our way sometimes.
Anywho...next week is her birthday so we did a little celebrating early. I made these little cupcakes for her and took them down in the special ME cupcake box. Even the cupcake papers are ME. She freaked and loved them.
Not only did she love the way they looked she loved the taste...lol....she had 3 I had 1 but then again...It is HER birthday.
I have one more thing to share for ME Monday. Christina for years now, has decorated her Christmas tree all in a ME theme. I don't even recall all of the stuff that I have made for her to put on the tree. After Christmas this past year I saw these tiny little red tree ornaments marked down to something like 70% off at JoAnns so I bought them thinking they looked like little Cherries. I came up with the idea to add some brown trim cord and green ribbon to turn them into Cherry ornaments. I finished them up last week so that I could take a dozen of them to Christina for her birthday. She loved them, too! It's so easy to give gifts to people who you know what they like.
These isn't a great picture of them but you get the idea of what they look like. You can see my reflection while take the picture...lol.
Please join us and post the link to your blog with the related Mary Engelbreit pictures to share with everyone. It can be a ME licensed product or something that was "inspired" by Mary Engelbreit's artwork. It "should" be a photo that you took of something that you own. We're flexible here....let's have fun above all else.

Once you've posted your picture come back and add your link in McLinky below. Please share the link back to my blog so that everyone can take part in sharing their post and pictures.

Things I Love Thursday.....

I Love it when Mary Engelbreit leaves me a comment on Facebook!

You'll have to click on the photo to enlarge it so you can actually read it.

I'm down here doing the "Happy Dance"! I'm just sayin', how often does Mary E. leave a comment on her Facebook page for you? How sweet is she?
I went over to St. Petersbug this morning with my neighbor, Paddy, to go see the new Chihuly Glass Exhibition that just opened up over there. Fabulous by the way. That was going to be my blog post today but "shoot" a comment from "The Queen of Everything" trumps that.
I get home about 4 pm start peeling off the clothes, because it's 95 freaking degrees outside, and I flip on my laptop to get the hamsters running to power up my little Fisher-Price computer (seriously...I have a DELL and I love my DELL) so that I can check the emails. Well!! My equally crazy about ME, Facebook Friend & loyal jewelry customer, Ms. Jeanne from PA, has sent me a "Wow" Did you see the comment from Mary E. to you on her Facebook page. I do my Scobby Doo shake of the head and think "Huh?" What's she talkin' bout???? I pop over to the "every so popular", "You should be a Fan", Mary Engelbreit Facebook page and there it is from 2 hours ago! Ms. E has left me a comment on my July 17th post there.
OMG! OMG! Now....how do I respond back???!! I have to be cool...not gushy... or stalkerish. I thought for a few minutes and then just typed a little something back to Ms. Mary. I'm cool....but like I said...major happy dancing going on in the Cherry Chick house today.
Thanks for letting me gush  share with you. ;-)

It's a wonderful place to take photographs in. If you click on the photos they will Enlarge to Gigantic for a closer view. ;-)

If I recall correctly, my Mother gave this Anne Estelle needlepoint pillow to me one year as a Christmas gift.
This stationery tin was a promotional giveaway one year at J.C. Penney's for Mother's Day. My sweet son, Christopher, gave it to me. Ahhh....I know....isn't that sweet?

Now...please share your ME pictures, link with us here and read about participating in the ME Giveaway below.

Sharing ME Monday...

Don't let it be said that I am not dedicated to our Mary Engelbreit Monday! My internet service went down on Friday at home so I've made the trip out this evening to my local McDonald's to use their Wifi. I only have about 30 minutes of battery tip left on my laptop and no electrical outlet in site here. Yikes!!
I had hope to offer a Mary Englebreit giveaway this week but because of my limited time I will hold off until next week.
I'm sharing what I think are a few of my "unique" Mary Engelbreit items this week. I have a limited edition print in my office "Home" that came from ME. Next I have a few of the many ME watches that I have collected over the years. I once sold them for the manufacturer who made them. My third item is from a line of tolietries that once was sold under Mary's license. I have a bottle of liquid soap to share here. Last, is a very well used rubber jar opener that I got because of my subscription to Mary's Home Companion magazine. Does anyone else have one of them??
Thanks so much for joining us on this ME Monday. Please share your ME item pictures with us.

Sharing of the Red on Rednesday.....

I'm linking up with Sue & the ladies over at It's A Very Cherry World today to share my Red with everyone. I'm going with Sue's theme of sharing how I "express" myself with Red in my daily life. Below you will find screen shots of the various pages were I have presence on the web. Now that I've gathered it all together it makes me realize how much time I spend on this computer. Yikes! Fortunately, it's from the comfort of my couch...lol.

#1 Would be my blog page here....obviously it meets the Red criteria.....

#2 Is my Google account Home Page....love those cherries from Betsy Johnson....

#3 Is my Twitter Page...yep, got Red there.....

#4 Is my Yahoo home page...it's got that bordello Red look to it I think.

#5 Is my Shutterfly.com page....

#6 Is my Cherry Chick Jewelry.com website....

#7 Is my original website Cherry Chick.biz.....

#8 Is my Artfire.com shop.....

#9 Is my Etsy.com Shop.....

#10 and last is my computer desktop...if I knew how to get a background on my Photobucket and Flickr accounts I would have 12 but I think 10 will do just fine...someone might think I was obsessive if I had that many. :-)

Please make sure you jump over to see all the other blogs linked at www.Suelovescherries.blogspot.com  where everyone is sharing their Red for Rednesday.
