This is my new Xpress Redi Set Go thanks to my sweet neighbor, Paddy. I'm sure you've seen the infomercials on television. Cathy Mitchell's on there whipping up everything from omelettes to little cakes with snack size candy bars inside of them (not on my current diet plan). I was excited when I saw that it was Red and immediately thought, Rednesday...lol. Last week was a tough week for me so instead of saving this for Christmas Paddy gave it to me on Saturday to cheer me up. I was completely surprised. We had been talking about the idea that we'd both like to have one. They offer one of those BOGO Free deals and little did I know that she had ordered them for us. She's sweet like that.
On Sunday morning I made the egg burrito thingy pictured above trying to catch the various steps with my camera. I now have some salsa to add as a finishing touch next time. Since Sunday, I have made a little veggie pizza, a veggie omelette, and a pineapple upside down cake this evening to say thank you to Paddy. The cake was a little under cooked but I'm still learning. ;-)
Please join Sue over at It's A Very Cherry World and all of the other wonderful bloggers who will be sharing their Red today.
I wondered if they worked..thanks for sharing.

I've seen the informercial for this and I thought it was a fun gadget to have. I'm glad to see you like it as now maybe I'll buy one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Rednesday!

Isn't it funny how we Rednesday gals find something red in our lives, or notice something red, or get a new something red, and we immediately think of this? LOL! Happy Rednesday to you and your very sweet friend.

coupled with a cup of coffee, a perfect morning tea to have while deciding what photo to post for rednesday.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I am not a fan of having tons of kitchen gadgets, but I think this one is real useful. Eggs or ham/cheese melts sound delicious.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice gift! That is a good friend!! Don't you love how we connect things directly to blogging? "This would be good for Rednesday...Pink Saturday.." etc! That omelet looks so good!!!

What a nice neighbor you have! I would love to have one of these, and I think it's a great way to eat healthy. Under cooked cake? Yeah, I'd still eat that!
