Some Fall for this Florida lady.....

We have no Fall or Autumn in Florida that you can see. Some time in late November it might cool off a little but the leaves don't change so you don't "see" Fall. But...I have a plan and I'm excited. Later this week I am flying up to Philadelphia and then driving up to Lake George in the Adirondacks of New York.  It might be a little too early for color but I know I wll find cooler weather. Does anyone have any "must do" things that I should check out while up there?







This is one of many of my favorite photographs that I took of Lake George while on our way to Bolton Landing in 2008.

While I'm on the subject of Fall/Autumn I thought I would share with you my newest addition to my Artfire.com shop. This is a necklace that I designed with a cute glass lampwork pumpkin bead from my sweet friend, Heather, from over at Dragonfly Lampworks. She makes the most awesome lampwork beads. I can hardly wait to show you Christmas designs. This post is way too long but I, also, wanted to share that I have a pair of lampwork glass candy corn earrings available, too.     You have been a very, very busy lady today. Am so glad you managed to have some time to share with us your newest creation. I LOVE THEM! Hope you have a wonderful trip and that the fall colors are awaiting you in all of their glory. We will all be thinking of you out there with your camera snapping pictures to bring back and share.

    Love that necklace! And you shared my favorite ME magazine cover EVER! Premiere issue! I hope you have a fabulous trip. In our part of California we don't get snow or freezing temperatures, but we do have a fall leaf season. It's even more gorgeous in the mountains just to the east of us.

    Vicki, have a great time on your trip. Lake George looks like a wonderful place to spend time. Not much a fall here in TX either other than cooler temps and lots of football games. LOL

    Love the little chest below. I have a small one very much like this that I had as a child. I never thought of covering it with fabric. It's up in the attic at the moment, but it was in my closet for the longes time. I need to work out a plan. Thanks for the inspiration. ~ Sarah

    Have a great time. I bet you will see some color. I saw a tree here in Ohio today that was turning orange. Have fun.
